Alternative Search Engines

Technorati = only searches blog content to give a good idea about what people are thinking about a topic.

Pipl = searches people on pages that cannot be found on regular search engines such as "deep web" which contains 500 times that content of the surface web.

Quintura or KidsQuintura = a visual search creating a group of related terms helpig to key in on other topics.

SearchCloud = use to search specific multi-word ideas or concepts. The search weighs the importance of a term in the seach to better find information.

Cuil = finds more results by divining additiona categories around a search.

WolframAlpha = using algorithms to compute answers without linking to outside sites
